Downhill Biking Trails – High Star Ranch

This was a great project. We added 16 miles of public mountain-bike trails to the High Star Ranch trail system, located near Kamas, UT. Most of the trails are directional, with downhill features such as berms, rock gardens, drops, small booters, and well-orchestrated flow.

In the home stretch at Mt. Olympus. Can’t thank this awesome crew enough as they grind through this project. Chilly mornings but still a hint of autumn down in SLC.
A few more bridges, a few more dogs at our big Mayflower project. Bittersweet to have no snow in the forecast, but it’s been great to keep chugging along out here.
Getting some high altitude flagging done before winter comes. Didn’t expect to pull the snow shoes out this early in the year...
A few more from Mt. Olympus. Didn’t think we’d be racing winter to get this one done, but it’s definitely become a little extra motivation as we cross the halfway mark on this project.
All rocks, all steep, and a major interstate conveniently located directly below us...this Mt. Olympus reroute is definitely one of our gnarliest project sites to date. Very proud of this crew for keeping it cool, calm, and collected as they work their magic on this tricky spot.
Rain-out day, so here are some pics from a recent gravel trail project in Ranch Place — this was a really fun project to get the whole crew together on and take a break from the dirt. Plus a few bonus pictures of this remarkable autumn, because who can resist right now 🍂
Stopped by the Ogden Trackline we built last year. It was a bit of an experiment with importing dirt, but we’re happy to report that it’s holding up well and is clearly receiving a lot of love!
We had such a great time at the 2021 Utah Outdoor Recreation Summit! There’s just something about being with so many people who really “get” what we do and why we love it. The conversations come easy and the friendships come quick. Great to see friends from @slcpubliclands, @mtntrailspc, and many others. And thanks to @utahoor for putting on a great event. A fitting start to today’s celebration of #nationalpubliclandsday!
